Itinerary

Assemble at either Akshardham Metro Station or ISBT Kashmere gate. We start our journey towards Chopta at 8 PM. We have our dinner at a restaurant near Modinagar and then continue our drive to Rishikesh.

We reach Rishikesh by 4 AM and also take a halt there. We start our mountain drive to Chopta by 5 AM. We drive through Kedarnath- Badrinath trace and cross Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag and Kund. It takes around 8 hours to reach Chopta.

Chopta is a bitsy hill station positioned on the Gopeshwar- Badrinath road. The place is girdled by scenic meadows and is considered one of the stylish places for camping in Uttarakhand. The place is also prominent for the journeys to Tungnath and Chandrashila.

After arriving at Chopta, we've our lunch and also start our journey to the world’s loftiest lord Shiva tabernacle, which is Tungnath. The journey from Chopta to Tungnath is3.5 km long and the trail is made up of cemented path. It takes around 3 hours to reach the tabernacle. After reaching there, explore the tabernacle and enjoy the evening. regale and late stay at Tungnath.

Wakeup beforehand and we start our journey to Chandrashila at 5 AM. The journey from Tungnath to Chandrashila is1.5 km long and the trail is steeper than the former day’s trail. It takes an hour to reach the Chandrashila peak. After reaching, enjoy the panoramic views of nearly all the peaks of Uttarakhand similar as Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, Kedarnath, Trisul, Gangotri, Shivling,etc.

We start descending down at around 8 AM and reach Chopta presumably by 12 PM. After having lunch at Chopta, we begin our drive back to Delhi.

Reach Delhi by 7 in the morning coming day.
